Best Free Charting Websites

Chart reading is an essential skill for both traders and investors. You should have charts that give you the information you want, quickly and easily.

You can easily get by with free online charts if you're relatively new to chart reading, or if you're not that active with your investing. Here are two websites that are excellent “free” resources.

Pro Tip: The ease of use of a charting platform increases as you go up in price, although they can also be more complicated. When starting out, begin with a free site.

Best FREE Charting Websites

#1 FreeStockCharts.com (easy transition to their subscription charts, TC2000.com)

#2 StockCharts.com

Free websites will ask you sign up with an email and password, and you'll have to put up with website ads, but it's worth it to get the best information for free.

To go Pro, you'll eventually want to subscribe to software that has more features. I have used TC2000.com for about 20 years, and most all of the charts I post are created from TC2000. I highly recommend them.
