Short-term Warning: Short-term Weakness QQQ
The QQQ (Nasdaq 100 ETF) closed below its 10-SMA over the last 2 days, and the ETF has closed down for 4 consecutive days. This short-term weakness is normal price action in an uptrend, but given an extended general market, further decline is a concern, perhaps all the way to the 50-EMA. The last decline in January was halted as RSI-20 hit and held the 50 level. The RSI is currently at 54, so the market has further potential downside to test the 50 level again, although it's getting close.
